I was recently gifted this amazing Martin ukelele that once belonged to my grandfather. I don’t see music in my near future, or even my far one, but it heavily saturated my past. Until I can get her restrung, this lovely instrument will have to exist mostly as art for our wall.

My good friend Nathan shot me and my guitar in a girls shirt at a cemetery last week. It was incredibly cold, but, I look incredibly badass. Also a little silly.
It was a lot of fun to play around and pretend to be a rock star. I’m still learning to play guitar, but I’m still enjoying the learning process. I think that is important when learning anything. If you’re enjoying the learning, you’ll really enjoy the hobby. If you don’t have fun in most things in life, whats the point of doing it?

I present to you Mr Dan Meery, AKA Studio Recording Superstar. I didn’t even drop off my luggage in Toronto before walking to Dan’s ridiculously fabulous studio, where I had my mind blown over and over again. I’ve known this guy since he was a shitty troublemaker who frequently fell out of second story windows. I cannot even express the pride I feel for him, and all the amazing stuff he is pumping out these days.
